Club organisation
The Brussels International Badminton Club is run on the basis of the club’s statutes by a committee of eight members, elected by the annual general assembly. The committee meets regularly, about once a month, at the invitation of the secretary to discuss general club matters and any specific issues that may arise. If necessary, additional committee meetings may be convened at short notice to discuss urgent issues.
A full annual general meeting is held every year, usually at the beginning of the season in September or October. All members will be invited by e-mail and via the club’s website. Annual general meetings are an opportunity to discuss the club’s recent development and future outlook. Furthermore, the AGM elects the committee and approves the statutes.
The committee keeps in touch with the other members as much as possible. In addition to the club nights, e-mailings and this website are important tools for communication with the members.
Please feel free to contact any committee member with any suggestions, queries or questions they may have about the club.
